The Sing Canowindra workshop was very well attended on 25 May, with visiting choir master Christina Mimmocchi leading over 40 attendees in choir songs. They performed that day at Folk Club at taste Canowindra and sounded amazing.

The CWA Hall hosted several Arty Kids workshops during the year, held by member Ash Wright. These mosaic workshops were wonderful displays of community, creativity and were quickly booked to capacity!

We were very privileged this year to have the support of Jo Marais and her beautiful talents in flower arranging. In June she organised a lovely display in the newly dressed CWA Hall.

Around 110 people enjoyed the Sunday Serenade concert held on August 31. On a beautiful day, ten performers and eighteen choir members provided amazing music, song and drama to entertain the crowd, and $700 was raised to put towards the CWA Music and Voice Scholarship. Afternoon tea was also exceptional, as people have come to expect!
Expressions of Interest for the scholarship were given out on the day, with details of the scholarship to be decided upon at the upcoming AGM. It is clear that there are many talented primary and high school students in our community, and our branch has a good opportunity to support them by continuing to hold the concert and financially supporting a young musician in 2015.
