About our Catering Services

Catering is a primary source of income for the Canowindra CWA enabling us to raise funds for a wide range of activities including the CWA hall refurbishment and local/national charities.

Canowindra CWA provides catering for all types of events:

  • morning and afternoon teas
  • on-site lunches and dinners
  • major functions such as birthdays, weddings and wakes.

We have cooked and baked for small morning teas through to weddings and functions for over 100 guests.

Our CWA Hall boasts a fully equipped commercial style kitchen and we cater for events in our Hall or at your venue, with food prepared and served or prepared for you to serve. Amongst our members we have many years experience in cooking, baking and food preparation and also hold Food Safety Certificates.

We can offer a variety of food from finger food to sit down menus, catering boxes or your family favourites. We design our menu to suit your tastes and budgets and use seasonal and local produce to support our local farmers and businesses. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Our capable country women can fetch up a feast under most circumstances, indoor and outdoor.

Past catering activities include:

  • finger food for 150 at the Simon Tedeschi Concert
  • 2 course roast dinner for Lions and Lodge presentation nights
